Inspirational Poems to Offer Encouragement

The uplifting poems on the following pages were written to give you hope in times of struggle. Cancer, dementia, disabilities or any type of illness can sometimes make you question God. You may wonder if he is punishing you for something. God loves you and does not cause the heartaches of this world. He may sometimes allow them, if they are for your good, but he stands beside you through any trial you face. Hold on to Jesus and remember - you are loved.

It's scary when you hear the doctor say that you have cancer. So many thoughts flood your head and you may even cry. It's normal to feel like that. No matter what is said, God is the great Healer. He will give you all the  strength you need and he will be there to hold you when you need him.
The world is full of illness. One day you're healthy and the next you are flat in bed unable to get up. There are so many new  illnesses, but they continue to find cures for many. No matter what you are facing today, know that God is holding your hand and will give you the strength you need to move forward. You are not and never will be alone.
It's hard to let others help you constantly, but sometimes that is all you can do when you are disabled. No one can understand the hardships you are going through except Jesus. Lean on him when you need a friend and never give up hope. Keep looking up and let God be your Strength when yours is gone. God loves you.
