Put Your Life In His Hands

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.     Isaiah 12:2
*
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
Philippians 4:13
*
Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.     Psalm 73:25-26
*
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1

The Battle Was Won

...but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they
will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not
          be faint.                               Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

Eagle on Branch
Have you ever tried to get something done and thought, “I can't do anymore. I am exhausted,” but then somehow you find the strength to finish? I know I have. Other times when I think I can't finish a project I end up sitting down and the next thing I know it is an hour later. I fell asleep! It seems the older I get, the harder it gets to move things around. It's like the mind is willing, but the body says, "No way!"
Then I think of my designing this new Heaven's Roll Call website. I worked 8 - 10 hour days since January trying to learn how to build it and then dealing with computer issues every day. The difference I found is that the website is totally for God. It is sharing a God-given talent with others and not thinking of myself or my needs. It is putting all my trust in him to guide and show me how and what to do. As I worked every day on this website, I would start out with prayer and before I went to sleep at night I would ask God to show me what to do. Some days I would say the Bible verse. I must admit the prayers were often and so was the Bible verses! God was and is my strength for everything I do. Is he yours? Believe what Jesus said in the Bible. Trust him when you are mentally or physically exhausted. Whatever your need, God will help you. He loves you. Remember - All things are possible.                         (Click any inspirational poem to read.)
