AFTER THE DEATH OF A PARENT

     Your mom or dad has died or sadly both. It hurts so much that you feel alone and scared. You may even feel angry. I am so sorry for your pain. It's hard when you have to say goodbye knowing they won't see you grow up and have a family or grandkids. There will be times you want to go to the phone to call your mom to tell her something and can't. 

In my Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you so. I go to prepare a place for you.   John 14:2

     I pray these Christian inspirational poems after the death of your parent or a Christian Bible verse will comfort you and offer hope. Let those who love you help you through the heartache. Find a trusted friend or someone at church you can talk to.  Always know Jesus waits with open arms to help you through the pain.

Sometimes you may even smell your dad's pipe tobacco or mom's perfume even though you are the only one in the room. Whatever happens or you're feeling, understand it's normal. God loves your parent(s) as much as he loves you. Your mom or dad is safe in heaven. No longer do they have pain or illness.
