UPLIFTING POETRY AFTER A DIVORCE offer hope
I am so sorry to hear that you are getting or are divorced. Sometimes when there is abuse or unfaithfulness, it can be a good thing for one or both parties. Then other times it comes out of nowhere and one party wants a divorce without any serious reason. Whatever the cause there still can be extreme sadness knowing it wasn't the fairy book marriage you hoped you would have. Sometimes it may feel like a part of you has died and you feel alone in your heartache. It is especially hard when there are children involved. Like a death, allow yourself time to mourn the loss and hold on to Jesus for strenth. Let him the the hope for your future while taking a day at a time.
There is nothing I can do to take away your pain, but I hope in some small way these inspirational poems of encouragement will help you during and after a divorce while knowing that God is with you always. He wants to help you, but you have to let him. At one time you mate and you must have seen something that made you say yes to marriage. It still could be there, but you will have to learn to let go of the past. What about going to talk to a Christian counselor? Satan wants nothing more than to destroy your marriage. Ask God to help you know what to do. Please fill in the form on the Prayer Request page if you would like me to pray for you. If you would like to talk by email fill in information on the contact form found on the Home page.
