INSPIRATIONAL FATHER'S DAY POEMS
The inspirational Father's Day poems are written to share with your dad on his special day. Be sure to share your time with your dad whenever you can. If it's for an hour or maybe even less, he will appreciate the time he can talk with you. If you're unable to visit, why not call him on the phone or send him a hand-written letter. If he is computer or phone savvy, then even a text would be nice, too. However you are able to contact him let him know how you feel and how much you love him. If you have any special memories of your childhood or times as an adult that you've treasured in your memory, share those with him, too. None of us know how long we have on this earth so don't miss the chance to tell him and your mom often how much you love each one.
Some of the poetry below are written for those dads who are spending Father's Day in heaven with Jesus and Our Father. My own dad died unexpectedly by the hands of a nurse's mistake, but I still will rejoice in the time God let me share with him. He was raised old school where men weren't to cry or show any emotion so only once when I was growing up can I remember him saying I love you. After a severe heart attack he died on the table, but God used his awesome power and brought him back to live another 15 years. After that happened we would have a race to see who could say I love you first! I say all this only to tell you not to waste time thinking you will always have another day with your dad or anyone for that matter.
