Your pet died and it hurts so bad. You actually feel a void inside. There are some people who may say it isn't a big deal since it is only an animal, but then others, like those of us who have had a loving pet, know it can feel like a loved one died. Whatever you are feeling and no matter what anyone says, give yourself time to mourn your loss. On earth pets can give us the unconditional love we so badly need sometimes. They can help comfort us after a long day at work. They help fill our heart with love when the world around us seems to be falling apart.
